The vegan version of a German Frankfurter (or call it Bockwurst or Currywurst, as it has lots of names in Germany)
Are you looking for a great vegan sausage in the style of a Bockwurst / Frankfurter? No need to look further, this one will satisfy you! It has a great meaty and smoky taste and is easy to grill.
Similar to all our other sausages, the Vegan German Frankfurter is already pre-cooked and will be sent chilled in high quality, ice pack-cooled delivery parcels. Just cook on medium heat until nicely brown, with a core temperature of over 72°C. Please also refer to our special section “Sausages perfectly grilled”.

You can also eat this sausage as a ‘Bockwurst’ by heating it in hot water until a core temperature of 72°C has been reached. But watch out; if you boil the sausage, it will burst and all the taste will be gone! If prepared as directed, you can enjoy the Frankfurter simply by adding some mustard (our Löwensen Extra or Löwensenf Medium) or you can have it as a hot dog in a bread roll, with different toppings of your likings.

It took me some time to add vegan sausages to my store. Not that I’m against vegan products – not at all. But to find vegan sausages that fitted my requirements regarding taste was a challenge. Finally, we found this vegan Frankfurter / Bockwurst – and I can honestly say that I enjoy them.
Just make sure not to overcook the Vegan German Frankfurter. Nicely brown and steaming hot (but not black and dry), it will taste delicious.
