The original Bratwurst from Bavaria
This is our best-selling sausage at any of the events and festivals we attend – probably 70% of all sausages we sell. Children as well as adults love them.
Like with all our sausages, the Bratwurst is pre-cooked and we will send it frozen in high quality, ice pack-cooled delivery parcels. Just thaw it slowly in the fridge and cook it on medium heat until nicely brown, with a core temperature of over 72°C. Please also refer to our special page “Sausages perfectly grilled”.

What Chef Hans says about the Bratwurst:
This sausage will be ideal for the majority of your guests – especially if you are not sure what they like. It has a mild pork taste with a perfectly balanced spicing.
You may have this sausage in a bread roll, or eat it with salad. It goes very well with mustard – that’s how we Germans eat it. However, you can also top it with Sauerkraut (German fermented cabbage), caramelized onions and gherkins and use various sauces.
The Bratwurst also goes very well with ketchup, so you can eat this sausage as a milder variety of the Currywurst. Just cut the sausage in bite-size pieces, top it generously with ketchup and curry powder – or just use our ready-made curry-ketchup – and you’ll have one of the most iconic German sausage dishes!
Just make sure not to overcook it. Nicely brown and steaming hot, it will taste delicious (but not black and dried out).
