The Mini Bratwurst from Nuremberg with the big flavour
These Mini sausages are a regionally protected specialty that exists since 1597. Surprisingly small, the ‘Nurnberger’ sausages combine delicious seasoning and typical marjoram flavour.
Similar to all our other sausages, the ‘Nurnberger’ sausages are already pre-cooked and will be sent frozen in high quality, ice pack-cooled delivery parcels. Just thaw them slowly in the fridge and cook on medium heat until nicely brown, with a core temperature of over 72°C. Take extra care that these small sausages do not fall through the grid! What Chef Hans says about the Nurnberger
This sausage will be ideal for the majority of your guests – especially if you are not sure what they like. It has a mild pork taste with a perfectly balanced spicing.
Whether big or small – everyone likes the Nurnberger. Enjoy them with hot sauerkraut, rustic sourdough bread, some horseradish or a good mustard (Löwensenf extra if you like it hot or Burkhardt mustard if it should be a bit more subtle) and a freshly tapped beer. If you like it simple: place three Nurnberger in a bread roll, top with some mustard and ready is your super tasty snack on the go!
Just make sure not to overcook these tiny sausages – they are done in a very short time. Nicely brown and steaming hot (but not black and dry), they will taste delicious.
